AMSOIL European Motor Oil
Obtaining OEM approval for motor oils may seem straightforward, but it constrains our capacity to integrate cutting-edge technologies that enhance product performance and quality. While licensing programs are voluntary and establish minimum standards, our primary focus lies on the performance and quality of the oil within our bottles rather than the licenses they carry. We prioritize exceeding minimum requirements and delivering superior products.
Absolutely. As long as the oil matches the correct viscosity and specification, manufacturer approvals merely signify meeting minimum performance standards. AMSOIL European Motor Oil surpasses these standards, offering maximum protection. Plus, our products are warranty secure, ensuring your factory warranty remains intact.
Yes, the versatile formulation of AMSOIL European Motor Oil is suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines.
SAPS stands for Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus, and Sulfur, which constitute a significant portion of a motor oil's additive content. European vehicles' emissions systems and exhaust treatment devices are sensitive to the SAPS content of oil. Therefore, it's crucial to use oil that meets the proper specification to ensure optimal engine protection and performance.
European car manufacturers often recommend long drain intervals during a regular maintenance cycle. AMSOIL recommends adhering to these recommendations or following the instructions provided in the owner's manual for an appropriate drain interval. Additionally, the drain interval can be extended further based on oil analysis.
AMSOIL European Motor Oil is compatible with both synthetic and conventional motor oils. However, mixing it with other oils will shorten the oil's life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals when oils are mixed, and doing so will void the limited warranty.
Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motor oils.
