About the 2020 Virtual Freedom Ride

This year due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, the 2020 Ottawa Valley Freedom Ride will consist of two ride options …

1. Register for our “Ride From Where You Are” option, where on the weekend of September 25-27 you can join other bikers from across Ontario, who are raising funds and riding (their own favorite route), to see the Ottawa Valley Men’s Centre open to men who are addicted to drug and alcohol in the National Capital region.

2. Register for our “Ride Meetup” option and be a part of the 80 riders starting and finishing their ride (with rodeo & lunch) on September 26th at the Ottawa Valley Men’s Centre (Renfrew, ON).

Whether you are planning to ride your own route or join us at the Centre, register and begin fundraising to help us reach more men in addiction, through the ministry of Teen Challenge.Ride Meetup Details

Solo Rider (Self Donation): $20
Rider + Passenger (Self Donation): $30
Registration Begins: 9:00 am
Ride Begins: 11:15am
Ride Ends: 2:30pm (Optional Lunch & Program)
Rodeo: 3:00pm (COVID Friendly)
Event Ends: 4:30pm

Important Participation Notes!

•	Due to COVID restrictions our “Ride Meetup” is limited to the first 80 registered riders. Filling out a local ‘Health Unit COVID Questionnaire’ will be require before arriving at the Centre.
•	“Ride Meetup Self Donations” are not refundable, however you will receive a 2020 tax receipt.
•	The ‘Optional Lunch’ option will include a food truck on site for those who wish to purchase food at the end of the ride.
•	The ‘Rodeo Games’, that require two people, must be done by couples who live together.
•	Mask’s must be worn if entering any buildings on stops or at the end of the ride. Social distancing seating will be provided where applicable.
